AUO's A.R.T. crosses borders to recreating the historical splendor of international collections. With collections from the famous contemporary music artist Ed Sheeran dating back to Elizabethan Shakespeare, the National Portrait Gallery, London, has collected portraits of people who have significantly influenced the British history, its culture, and the world from the 16th century to this very day. An epitome in the shaping of the UK over time.
The CHIMEI Museum brought the National Portrait Gallery, London, to Taiwan for its largest world tour in 160 years. This unique exhibition includes two significant paintings of the Tudor royal family: King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I, which are adapted through AUO’s FindARTs High Fidelity ART Display solution, fully reproduces every single magnificent brushstroke of the painting through high-resolution characteristics. With this technology, AUO positions itself with genuine masterpieces of historical artists such as the genius painter Sir Peter Paul Rubens, pop art master Andy Warhol, and other identical artists in reproducing historical elegant spotlights.
AUO’s team uses advanced algorithms in analyzing the original work to attain museum-level standards of high fidelity in art display. Performing panel modifications with state-of-the-art color simulations of subtle gradations between the shades of light, paintings are then verified by conservators to confirm the originality of the colors of the image. Finally, that digitalized image is then fortified with digital encryption technology to strengthen the security level of the library's digital assets.
CHIMEI Museum and AUO invite you to seize the opportunity to witness this remarkable combination of art and A.R.T. (Advanced Reflectionless Technology). Through this exhibition, you shall witness the epochal traces of historical icons and celebrities such as Shakespeare, Darwin, Churchill, The Beatles, et cetera. Spanning over 500 years, you will perceive how they contributed their portion to the history of the UK and enriched the culture of all humanity.
